The Troyer family has been part of the proud history of farmers in America since the 1930s. This tradition embraces not only a dedication to family-owned and operated farming, but also to a high ethical code.  Farming is much more than a business in our community. It is a calling.

 Mark D. Troyer

President

Mark Troyer is a general partner and real estate investor in two investor syndications in both Sarasota, Florida and Erie, PA. Mark directly owns/partners in nearly 300 apartment units or residential rentals. Troyer Farms, a family-owned business established in 1967, was sold in 2008, and Mark redirected his resources into real estate investing over the past 10 years. Mark owns and serves as President of Troyer Growers Inc. which is responsible for farming over 2,500 acres of potatoes, corn and wheat, Troyer Gas & Oil, Troyer Growers Supply, Troyer Transportation, Troyer Inc., and Quatro, LLC of Waterford, PA. Mark is a current member and past President of the Erie County Farm Bureau.

Zack Troyer

Farm Manager & Agronomist (CCA)

Zack is a multi-generational potato farmer, agronomist, and Certified Crop Advisor, with expertise and hands-on experience in crop and soil science. He has worked at several commercial potato farms across the U.S. and has also helped develop methods for efficient CBD hemp biomass production in Oregon over the past several years. His current passion within agriculture is marrying traditional, regenerative and organic farming practices with newly developed technologies and equipment to make sustainable farming practices practical, productive, and profitable.

When he is able to escape from the farm, Zack enjoys traveling to national parks and abroad with his wife, and also any sort of outdoor activity that involves mountains, rivers, and forests.

Tricia L. Restifo, CPA

Vice President of Finance & Operations

Tricia Briggs Restifo, CPA is a co-founder of several real estate investment companies in both Sarasota, Florida and Erie, PA. She is the Vice President of Finance and Operations of all Troyer companies and affiliates which consists of 20 separate companies where she is responsible for all facets of business management and accounting/finance including, A/R, A/P, payroll, human resources, DOT compliance, cash management, financing, collections, insurance and benefits, real estate management, asset liquidation, and management of team of 20+ employees. Tricia spent the beginning of her career at KPMG, Pittsburgh departing as an Audit Manager, then as the Financial Planner and Director of Retail sales for the Pepsi Bottling Group, Erie & Western New York. Before joining Troyer in 2005, Tricia led her first syndication with the Greater Erie Auto Auction. She coordinated a successful private offering and was the lead on the building and start up phases of the project. Tricia also has her real estate license with Marsha Marsh Real Estate Services. Tricia and her husband Mark reside in Erie and have 5 children, Gavin, Luke, Taylor, Dawson and Ashton.

 Brent Berger

Garage Manager

Brent Berger has over 30 years’ experience in the automotive industry and has worked for the Troyers for 14 years. He has received both basic and advanced automotive technology degrees from Erie County Technical school. Brent’s previous work experience includes working at Humes in Waterford. While there he specialized in engine repair and engine performance/drivability. He also holds ASE certifications in Engine repair, engine performance, brakes, suspension and steering, and exhaust systems. He is PA State certified for Inspection and Emissions. He currently resides in Edinboro with his wife Amy and he is the father of 3 Boys.

Matt Kubich

Troyer Growers Farm Manager

Matt Kubich works as Troyer Growers farm manager. Whether he’s planting corn, harvesting potatoes, or fixing a piece of equipment, Matt’s dedication to the Troyer family comes through his 17+ years of commitment to our company. Matt is especially talented with his knowledge of farming and fixing equipment. He’s a problem solver. Matt resides in Corry, PA with his lovely wife Karen.
